A true grafted Montipora Capricornis. A extremely rare phenomenon where green pigments 'infect' the red Montipora. This process is not to be confusion with fusion in which 2 corals grow together. The colony will grow as a red cap would in a scroll or cabbage leaf pattern but will contain random streaks of fluorescent green. The result is spectacular and incredibly unique. We have included a photo borrowed from world wide corals to show what this coral would potentially look like in months or years to come.
This piece is 2cm long. It may be small but it is 2-3 times the size of one that sold for $850 at Reefstock 3 months ago.
